Which personal AI agents can Singapore businesses use?

As of early November 2026, Meta Muse is live in Singapore, ChatGPT Dots are rolling out to eligible ChatGPT Pro users here, Gemini Spark depends on your Google plan and country, and Claude Duet is US-only for now. That changes month to month, so check each product's own page before deciding. • Meta Muse: launched in Singapore on 28 October 2026, in its own app and WhatsApp, with local connectors including Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada. • ChatGPT Dots: for Pro users aged 18 and over outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and business workspaces where an admin enables them (OpenAI). • Gemini Spark: availability varies by subscription and geography (Google). • Claude Duet: US-only research preview (Anthropic).

What agents are good for in a small business

Agents earn their keep on the jobs an owner has to notice and chase: replies that have gone quiet, invoices past due, meetings that need a brief, posts that should have gone out. They're less useful for one-off thinking, where a chat is quicker. • Get Seen: draft posts and campaigns from your content and analytics. • Get Sales: brief you before calls, flag leads that went cold, draft follow-ups. • Get Paid: find overdue invoices and draft polite reminders. • Running the day: a morning summary of email and calendar, with clashes flagged.

The PDPA question

An agent that reads your email or CRM is processing other people's personal data, so the [PDPA](https://www.pdpc.gov.sg/overview-of-pdpa/the-legislation/personal-data-protection-act) applies to how you use it. You remain responsible for that data, whichever tool does the reading. • Purpose: only connect accounts the agent needs for the job. • Consent and contact: an agent drafting marketing messages is still bound by consent and Do Not Call rules. • Sensitive data: keep NRIC numbers, health details and financial records out of what agents can reach unless the job needs them. • Records: use the audit trails and approval logs these tools provide, and review what each one remembers.

Step 1 to 5: a safe way to start

Start with one low-risk daily job, run it for two weeks, and only then widen access. 1. Pick one job: a morning summary, or reminders for overdue invoices. 2. Connect the minimum: just the email or the accounting app that job needs. 3. Keep approvals on: nothing sends, pays or posts without you. 4. Check its sources: every number should trace to an email, invoice or file. 5. Review after two weeks: what did it miss, what did it get wrong, and is it worth adding a second job?

When an agent isn't the right tool

If the job turns many of your own files into a finished document every week (a quote, a tender, a report), a harness on your own machine is usually better than a cloud agent. That's what we use Claude Code for, and it's available in Singapore today. Our Get Seen, Get Sales, Get Paid guide walks through it, and Claude Duet vs Claude Code vs Claude chat explains the split. Come and talk it through in person. Our year-end OTG Christmas Gathering is on Monday 28 December in Singapore: an evening of networking, dinner and a gift exchange with the people we've worked, learnt and built with this year. Bring the one job you'd most like to hand to an agent, and we'll talk through which tool fits. Register on Luma.
This guide is part of our series on proactive AI agents for business. Facts are checked against each company's own announcement and help pages as of 3 November 2026; these products are changing quickly. • What is Claude Duet?: Anthropic's proactive agent explained: what it does, who can use it, and its limits. • 10 ways a small business could use Claude Duet: morning briefs, invoice reminders, meeting prep and more, with the approvals that stay with you. • Claude Duet vs Claude Code vs Claude chat: which Claude to use for which kind of business work. • Personal AI agents compared: Claude Duet, ChatGPT Dots, Meta Muse and Gemini Spark side by side.

Frequently asked questions

Is Meta Muse available in Singapore?

Yes. Meta announced on 28 October 2026 that Muse is available in Singapore, in its own app and in WhatsApp. Local connector partners include Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada, with connector features rolling out progressively. Muse is free for most use, with paid plans for more.

Can I use ChatGPT Dots in Singapore?

OpenAI's documentation says dots are rolling out gradually to ChatGPT Pro users aged 18 and over outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and to business workspaces where an administrator enables them. Singapore falls within that rollout, but eligible accounts may not see dots immediately while the rollout continues.

Does the PDPA apply when an AI agent reads my business email?

Yes. Your email and CRM contain other people's personal data, and you remain responsible for how it's collected, used and disclosed under the PDPA, whichever tool does the reading. Connect only what a job needs, keep approvals on for anything sent, and respect consent and Do Not Call rules for marketing.

What is the best first task to give an AI agent?

A low-risk daily job that's easy to check, such as a morning summary of your email and calendar or drafting reminders for overdue invoices. Connect only the accounts that job needs, keep approval on, and review the results for two weeks before giving the agent anything more.
