Overview

If your homepage is about you (consultant, freelancer, creator), Person schema is the structured data to add. It feeds Google's Knowledge Graph and helps AI engines cite you accurately.

The minimum

name, url, image, jobTitle. That's enough to be parsed.
Add worksFor, sameAs (array of LinkedIn, GitHub, X URLs), description. The sameAs array is especially important — it lets AI engines connect your site to your professional identity elsewhere.

Common mistakes

Wrong url field (should be the page where the schema lives, not your LinkedIn). Missing image. Inconsistent name across sameAs links.
