Overview
If you bill hours or projects, client touch is the leading indicator of next month's pipeline. Cowork gives you a system for keeping that touch warm without it eating your week.
The client-touch audit
Run this monthly: "Look at my Gmail and calendar over the last 30 days. For each client I've worked with this year, when was my last meaningful touch? Rank by 'overdue for outreach'. Draft a 3-sentence opening for the top 3."
Project knowledge bases
For each major client, create a /Clients/[name]/ folder in Drive with a knowledge.md, brand brief, and key emails. Create a Claude Project that auto-loads it. Every chat about that client is now informed.
Proposal generation
With the client knowledge base loaded, "draft a 1-page proposal for [scope]" produces something that actually sounds like you and uses real specifics from past work.
