Meet the founder
Haojun See
Founder & Director, On The Ground
Haojun started OTG in July 2023 as a consultant solving operational problems for Singapore SMEs and professional service firms. He pivoted into automation from July 2024 (no-code platforms, workflow integrations) and went all-in on building with Claude AI from January 2026. Today OTG delivers practical AI applications across legal tech, education, social services, recruitment, and finance — and runs ‘vibe coding’ workshops teaching law firms and schools to integrate AI into daily work.
Before OTG, he was Chief Operating Officer at SG Assist (a social enterprise running the Age+ Living Lab — 80+ partners, 2,000+ visitors). Earlier in his career, he was a Singapore civil servant with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and the Ministry of Education (MOE). NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (Master in Public Policy) and Imperial College London (B.Sc. Chemistry, on the MOE Overseas Teaching Scholarship).

Astria Zhu
AI Application Developer
Astria is an AI application developer focused on building practical, deployable solutions that solve real operational problems. She works closely with client requirements, turning them into AI-powered tools, internal systems, and SaaS-style applications designed for real business environments rather than just demo use cases.
She works across the full development process, including frontend structure, backend integration, LLM application setup, deployment, debugging, testing, and implementation support. While she leverages AI-assisted coding workflows where appropriate, she places strong emphasis on reliability, usability, and ensuring that systems can perform effectively under real-world usage.
Much of Astria’s work sits at the intersection of technology and operations, covering areas such as document handling, workflow migration, compliance support, process improvement, and internal efficiency optimisation. She is particularly interested in legal, compliance, and professional service environments, where thoughtfully implemented AI systems can create meaningful operational gains.
Astria interned as a Frontend Developer at Shanghai Jinlong Trading Co., where she worked on front-end development and UI/UX optimisation, followed by a Software Architecture internship at Shanghai Xiaomai Technology, focusing on data testing and backend monitoring. She then completed a software development internship at SG Assist before moving into her current role — giving her a progression that spans both ends of the stack across environments in China and Singapore.
What motivates her most is bridging the gap between “AI-generated” and “actually deployable.” She enjoys identifying technical issues early, testing business workflows thoroughly, refining user experiences, and helping transform prototypes into systems that businesses can genuinely rely on.

Faiz Law
Strategic Advisor
Faiz provides a strategic lens to the work of On The Ground, drawing on his experience in AI policy consulting, corporate business culture and relationship building. He advises the team on AI regulations and ethical standards, as well as engagements with major customers. His insights help Hao Jun and OTG business leads make important decisions on the company’s vision, products and services, and business targets.
Faiz was a Senior Director with BowerGroupAsia, advising global enterprise technology companies on AI and digital polices in Asia Pacific. Earlier, he spent a decade in the Singapore civil service, during which he oversaw the review of the Personal Data Protection Act. He has held positions in policymaking, communications research and organisational development. He was awarded a PSC scholarship, graduating from the LSE with a Master’s degree in Media and Communications (Distinction), and from NTU with a Communications Studies Bachelor’s degree.

Lim Boon Keat
Training Lead
Boon Keat brings a structured approach to learning and capability development at On The Ground, helping translate OTG’s AI tools and methods into training programmes that organisations can actually use. As Training Lead, he leads the development of AI-related training content — designing materials and workshop experiences that equip teams in legal, education, and professional service settings with the skills to integrate AI into their daily work.
Before joining OTG, Boon Keat built his career in the maritime industry, where the demands of complex, high-stakes operations sharpened his ability to break down processes and communicate them clearly. He holds an ACLP 2.0 certification, and brings a practitioner’s mindset to every training engagement — focused on learning that is practical, relevant, and ready to use.

Kenneth Ng
Industry Partnerships & Growth Lead
Kenneth brings 20 years of hands-on interior design experience to On The Ground, giving OTG a rare edge — someone who has lived the exact problems the industry needs to solve.
He founded and ran his own interior design firm, and has worked with studios including Lemonfridge Studios, building deep fluency in how designers think, how contractors operate, and how suppliers win and lose business. That ground-level knowledge is now the foundation of something new.
Today, Kenneth works at the intersection of AI and the built environment — helping renovation firms, interior designers, and trade suppliers understand how AI automation can practically change the way they work. At OTG, he leads business development and industry partnerships, bringing in clients from the renovation and design sector while co-developing AI tools and training programmes built specifically for the trade.
He is the person in the room who has actually been on site, managed contractors, and dealt with difficult clients — and who now knows how to use AI to make all of that easier.
