Claude Code for Singapore founders — the local context.
Why we teach Vercel + Namecheap (not Cloudflare), SGD pricing, and what works for SG SMEs.
Overview
Building software as a Singapore founder has specific shape: SGD pricing, .sg or .com domains, local payment integrations, and a market that values reliability over novelty.
Stack choices that fit SG
• Vercel free tier is more than enough for most SG SMB sites.
• Namecheap handles .com and most international TLDs; SGNIC for .sg.
• Stripe Singapore for international payments; HitPay or Stripe SG for local PayNow.
What works in the SG market
Sites that load fast on mobile. Singaporeans are mobile-first; a site that takes 4 seconds to load loses the click.
Pricing pages with SGD prices and clear GST notes (if applicable).
About pages that signal you've actually shipped — case studies, named clients with permission.
What to avoid
Over-engineered design. SG founders win on substance, not visual fireworks.
Generic stock photography. Most readers can tell.
