Plain English
Booking, payment, refund & privacy.
We try to read like humans, not lawyers. Here's every rule in one place, with the reasoning. If something seems unfair, email haojun@ontheground.agency and we'll talk it through.
1. Enquiry vs booking
Submitting the form on a course page is an enquiry, not a booking. We reply within 2 business days with the next-cohort date and a Xero invoice.
2. Pay the invoice to confirm your seat
Your seat is confirmed when the Xero invoice is paid. We hold the spot for 5 business days after issuing the invoice. If it isn't paid by then, the seat returns to the pool and we'll let you know.
Invoices are payable by bank transfer or PayNow (details are on the invoice). We don't take card payments on the site. A receipt is issued automatically by Xero once payment clears.
3. Refund policy
More than 14 calendar days before the workshop: 100% refund of your seat fee minus the S$30 Claude Pro gift value. We refund within 5 business days.
Within 14 calendar days of the workshop: no cash refund. You can transfer your seat to another person, or to a later cohort (once). Tell us by email and we'll arrange.
If we cancel the workshop: full refund including the Claude Pro gift value. We aim to reschedule first if you'd prefer.
4. Claude Pro 1-month gift
Every paid seat is gifted one month of Claude Pro (S$30 value), T&Cs:
- •One gift per participant, one month only.
- •Issued as a Claude Pro gift link from Anthropic, sent by email within 5 business days of payment confirmation.
- •Not redeemable as cash. If you cancel after the gift link has been sent, the S$30 value is deducted from your refund (whether or not you redeemed it).
- •Not transferable. The gift link is for the named participant and tied to the email used at enrolment.
- •Gift links expire 60 days after issue. Redeem before the workshop date to avoid expiry.
5. Seat transfers and substitutions
You can substitute another person for your seat at any time before the workshop starts. One free substitution per booking; tell us by email at least 24 hours before.
6. NGO unlock and CSR
Every 5 paid seats across CW-1 and CW-2 unlocks 1 free NGO seat from our open waitlist. NGOs and charities can also write in for a free private session for up to 15 pax. CSR sessions are at our discretion; we aim to run at least one per quarter.
7. Code of conduct
Be the kind of person you'd want to learn from. We reserve the right to remove anyone behaving disruptively, harassing other participants, or sharing third-party confidential data without permission. No refund in that case.
8. Your data
We collect what the form asks for — name, email, phone, course interest, message, and a flag for whether you're an NGO. We use it to reply, send the invoice, and (with your consent) the Friday webinar invite. We do not sell, lease, or share your data.
Data deletion: email us and we'll delete your record within 5 business days.
9. Recording, photos, and alumni listings
We may take photos and a brief video during the workshop for marketing — only with explicit consent. Your alumni listing on aigowhere.com uses fields you control: title, summary, URL, and tags. You can edit or unpublish it at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes go through Singapore courts.
Anything unclear? Email haojun@ontheground.agency — we'd rather resolve it now than after you book.
