Claude Training for Ray of Hope

Ray of Hope is a Singapore charity that crowdfunds for people in need. On The Ground ran a three-hour, hands-on Claude training for its staff, built around one idea: start from your work, not the tool.

We installed Claude Code together once, on the shared screen, logged in, and set up a working folder by simply asking Claude for one in plain English. From there the session was about each person's own week: what they make or do repeatedly, where they start from, and who receives it. Anything that repeats and starts from an old version (a sponsor proposal, a campaign write-up, a committee pack) makes a good first workflow.

We also spent time with the case workers on working safely with their confidential case materials, and with the marcomms team on using Claude to make their marketing better.
